What Buyers Want

Sellers have come to the realization that buyers right now are not liking all of the over priced homes, especially if they need updating. With interest rates still relatively high from the days of 2.5% land, buyers are seeing the sticker shock of their monthly mortgage payments and saying “No.” Buyers are more picky with the high listing prices and homes that still need updating. If you are a seller right now, your buyers are in search of one of two things: either a really well priced home or a home that is virtually turnkey and reasonably priced. Reason being, if buyers are paying a lot of money per month for their mortgage AND having to do considerable remodeling, they’re not interested. So if you want to get it sold, price it well and do some updates.
